exam is coming

The final examination will come two weeks from now, but in fact, I have a lot of tests from next week. I will have three quizzes on Monday, two exams on Thursday and also my oral and computer final exams on Friday. As for the final exam week, I will need to study for five subjects. I feel tired when I know these tests will be around me until the semester is finished. I’m not sure if I can do it well because I feel weak from the flu. I hope I can get better as soon as possible because I can’t study in this way but I really want to do well on my studies and the final examination.

time

Time goes fast. I just finished counting down of the new year, here comes the final exam in two weeks. Then we are going to have a winter break for one month. During the break, there will be Chinese New Year on February. And soon we will have to start our new semester. I know I shouldn’t waste my time and need to study hard. I’m trying to do so and hope that I can keep going on. Though I go back to work now, I don’t want to lose my school life. It will be a hard task I know. But since I choose to have it, there’s no regret.

Taipei

I went to Taipei on December 31 with one of my friends, Jamie. We went to Wu Fen Pu first in the afternoon. There were a lot of different kinds of clothes, jeans, jackets and coats at every different kind of stores. And they were not as expensive as we used to buy at some stores outside. After buying some nice clothes, we went to Danshui. We ate a lot and bought a lot too. Some people shot the fireworks near the dock to celebrate the coming new year. I could see people wore smiles on their faces from time to time. Then here came the most important part of the last day, the Taipei 101 was the last stop we stayed. We definitely couldn’t miss the fireworks. And all I can say is the firework show was fabulous and fantastic. That’s how I spent my last day of 2007 and had the new day of 2008.

work again

I can’t believe I go back to work again. Last Friday I got a call from the place where I used to work. They asked if I have other part time jobs because they wanted me to work again. I said I had not have jobs since I quit before but I didn’t want to go back to work. They asked for the reason and said that they would solve any problems as they could. I know the reason why I don’t want to work there is because the people are not friendly, especially the one talked to me on phone. But how can I tell her that she is the key point that makes me sick all the time. However, they gave me a little bit higher hour pay than before. And though I’m not willing to work, I work for money.

school life

Being a student sometimes can be good, sometimes can be bad. In my school life, I go to class in the morning and go home in the afternoon or evening every day. When I finish my dinner, I have to review and study the lessons that teachers taught us. And I need to do a lot of homework too. However, being a student is a kind of experience. I can receive instructions from my teachers and discuss problems with my classmates whenever I meet difficulties. Besides, I can also take part in extracurricular activities during free time to relax myself. Anyway, I enjoy my school life now and consider it the best part of my life.

christmas's eve

Today is Christmas’s eve. It should be a happy holiday but unluckily I had headache this afternoon and wasn’t able to eat much. Although I finished my class around six in the evening, I didn’t go to church because I was too tired to go any places. I came back to dorm to take a rest and then had my dinner. This is the first time that I don’t go to church on Christmas’s eve. It reminds me when I was a little girl, my parents would take my brother and me to church whether we liked it or not. I still remember how wonderful it was when people sang together in church and we children played happily with laughing out loud. That’s one of the reasons why Christmas is my favorite holiday.

television

I like to go home on weekends. One of the reasons is that I can see my family at home and chat with them happily. But I have to admit the main reason why I go home so often is that I can watch television. Rarely do I watch TV at the dorm because there is an only one television set we can use. I spend a lot of time at home watching TV, including news, fashions, dramas and some information about our daily lives. Moreover, I can travel around different countries and learn different cultures and customs of distant lands without leaving my armchair. Anyway, I relax myself after the tiring, stressful day by watching TV.
